Awarding of the Vitebsk region enterprises – winners of the "Best Exporter of 2019" National Contest

Vitebsk hosted the awarding ceremony for the enterprises of the region that have become laureates of the "Best Exporter of 2019" National Contest.

Following the last year's results, seven Vitebsk enterprises have become the "Best Exporter of the Year" laureates, such as:

State Forestry Institution "Orsha Forestry" – winner in the category "Forestry and Logging Industry";

Limited Liability Company "Production Association "Energocomplekt" – the winner in the category "Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical engineering and Optomechanical Industry";

Foreign Production Unitary Enterprise "VIK – Animal Health" – the winner in the category "Manufacture of Treatment and Rehabilitation Products";

Limited Liability Company "Aliansplast" – the winner in the category "Oil Refining, Chemical Industry and Petroleum Chemistry (organizations with an annual export volume not exceeding $25 mln";

Joint Limited Liability Company "TransExpedition" – winner in the category "Small and Medium Enterprises in Service Sector";

Joint Stock Company "Vitebsk Carpets" – diploma in the category "Light Industry";

Open Joint Stock Company "Vitebsk Oil Extraction Plant" – diploma in the category "Food Industry".




Attending the awarding ceremony were the BelCCI Chairman Vladimir Ulakhovich and the Chairman of the Vitebsk Region Executive Committee Nikolai Sherstnev.

Vladimir Ulakhovich noted that the Best Exporter Contest is a tool to publicly acknowledge the companies' achievements. The winners of the contest are the export elite. "Vitebsk region has shown good results. Today, almost 100 countries worldwide buy products manufactured in this region of Belarus. There are over 800 exporters among small businesses alone. The region's manufacturing enterprises and food producers have great prospects, too," the BelCCI Chairman said.

The Vitebsk region Governor Nikolai Sherstnev thanked the winning companies for their effective work and wished the teams to keep going in developing new products and entering new markets.
